Pioneer Circuits Achieves AS9100 & ISO 9001:2000 Certification

Santa Ana, CA - Pioneer Circuits is proud to announce certification of its Quality Management System (QMS) to the AS9100 and ISO 9001:2000 industry quality standards by CRS registrars of Muamee, Ohio. Previously, Pioneer’s QMS was certified to an earlier revision of the ISO 9000 standard.

AS9100 is the aerospace version of the widely recognized ISO 9001. It incorporates all of the elements of ISO 9001 as well as additional requirements. Jim Lee, Pioneer’s president explains, “We needed to renew our ISO certification and we took the opportunity to upgrade to AS9100 because so many of our customers are heading in this direction. Moving to AS9100 is a major part of our Continuous Improvement program this year and we are much better company for going through this process.”
