PCB ASSEMBLY & CIRCUIT BOARD ASSEMBLY

PRE-ASSEMBLY
During pre-assembly, the resources and tools needed for the assembly process are determined. Then, the necessary hardware is purchased and the traveler is created and reviewed by the engineering team.
ASSEMBLY PROCESS
The assembly process consists of baking, soldering and performing the optional pre-test. Then it moves on to degreasing, potting, touching up and finally serializing the finished part.
ELECTRICAL TESTING
Although the part have already gone through electrical testing in the manufacturing process, Pioneer Circuits makes sure to test the assembled product ones again to ensure functionality.
FINAL INSPECTION
After the assembled product is completely finished, we perform a final inspection, making sure everything is working correctly. At this stage, a customer is again welcome to do a source inspection of the final product to make sure it meets all their requirements.
CIRCUIT BOARD ASSEMBLY CAPABILITIES

SOLERING CAPABILITIES
Pioneer Circuits has certified soldering capabilities with certified trainers and operators. We are certified per ANSI/IPC-J-STD-001 Class 3 and IPC-A-610 as well as NASA 8739.3 & NASA 8739.2

SMT
We not support both through-hole and surface mount technology. This capability was added in response to customer frustrations over the inability of their existing contract manufacturers to implement proper handling and environmental controls for flexible products.

MORE CAPABILITIES
We also have the capabilities for potting of connectors, compliant pin insertion, bonding, conformal coating, and flex forming. These assembly services support the traditional role of flex and rigid-flex products in interconnection and backplane systems.
