A printed circuit board (pcb) is the board base that supports and connects different electronic components through conductive tracks. The conductive features of a printed circuit are etched on to the pcb board from copper sheets. Printed circuit boards can be used in the simplest electric applications to the most complex programs such as those within the military and aerospace sectors.
A rigid printed wiring board or rigid pwb, is an electronic component present in many applications to replace hardwiring. A rigid pwb board can be single layer, double layer, and multilayer. They offer much less flexibility and design opportunities than flex and rigid flex pwbs.
