California Candidate Privacy Statement

This Candidate Privacy Statement (“Statement”) describes the Personal Information Pioneer Circuits, Inc. (“Pioneer”) collects about you in the context of your candidacy for employment with Pioneer, as well as the purposes for which Pioneer collects and uses that information. When we say Personal Information in this Statement, we mean information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with you.

Does Pioneer collect my Personal Information?

We process information about you, including Personal Information, for purposes related to your candidacy. We collect Personal Information from you directly, from your references, and other third parties. We may have collected over the past 12 months the following categories of Personal Information about you:

  • Identifiers, such as your name, contact information (such as home address, phone number, email address), work permit or visa information, your employment and education history, referrals or references, and whether you are subject to any prior employer obligations, and any other information you make publicly available or you provide to us (such as information included in your resume, cover letter, etc.).

  • Education Information, such as information about your education background collected from you, references and other third parties, such as background check companies, during the application process.

  • Professional or Employment Information, such as information about your desired salary, willingness to relocate, other job preferences, interview details, and outcomes of any recruiting exercises you complete. We may also receive information such as your education and work experience, contact information, from third-party data providers who have the rights to provide us with your information. These partners collect your information from publicly available sources, or through third parties they work with.

  • Sensitive Personal Information, as defined in the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and that you provide us, such as your Social Security, driver's license, state identification card, or passport number; racial or ethnic origin, religious or philosophical beliefs; and health-related information, including physical or mental disability and information relating to accommodations that you may request during the recruiting process.

  • Other characteristics of protected classifications, such as your gender, if you disclose such information.

We use the Personal Information described above in the context of your candidacy for employment at Pioneer. Our business purposes for collecting this information include:


To consider you for, and assess your suitability for, employment opportunities with Pioneer, for example:

  • To receive, review and reply to your application;

To maintain and improve our recruiting processes, for internal planning and management reporting, and to comply with laws and regulations, for example:

  • To manage and improve our careers portal and our recruiting processes, for instance, to make the application process easier and more efficient;

  • To prepare and perform management reporting and to perform analysis related to recruiting metrics, such as length of the recruiting process;
